A Clear Mind Heals

Time after time, we are constantly trying to figure out the "right" thing to do. So much so that it can become a distraction. From a small child, it's how we were taught. Someone always telling us what to do.  


As we grow, we realize that the answer, mostly, has many sides. We realize that we can have "this" AND "that" instead of either or. We learn that it's not always about how it looks but how it fits. But somewhere down the line, we forget to listen to ourselves. 


Could it be because we were never taught that valuable trade in the first place? Could it be that the system knew if we learned how to access the silence that we would become dangerous? Yes. I believe so. 


Why else would so much distract us? From the hundreds of cable channels to now Netflix, Amazon and those alike to the many phone apps and devices, its very clear that someone doesn't want us focused. 


Take a few minutes out of your day and just do nothing. Relax and reclaim your thoughts and ideas. Then once you have a few in your mind, write them down and give them honor and time. You never know what can happen or what's hiding within yourself. 


You just can't beat a clear mind. Clarity heals a multitude of wounds.
